circa 1884, with 8in octagonal blued sighted barrel signed 'E REMINGTON AND SONS. ILION NEW YORK USA' together with patent date and 'NEW-MODEL' (bruising around the cylinder arbor), blued cylinder and frame, brass trigger-guard, wood grips, (retains a good degree of finish throughout).
