A CASED PAIR OF 28-BORE PERCUSSION DUELLING PISTOLS
circa 1810, drum and nipple conversion from flintlock circa 1850, with 10in re-browned slightly swamped octagonal barrels signed 'WOGDON & BARTON LONDON' in script on the top-flat, ball-banded engraved breech ends, plain flat locks with stepped tails signed 'WOGDON & BARTON' in script, sliding safeties, walnut full stocks, bag shaped butts with flatterned sides, engraved butt-caps and triggerguards (possibly white metal) and original rammers (tip of forend on one pistol replaced, both stocks and furniture covered in a thick varnish), TOGETHER WITH a re-lined wooden, compartmented case with mahogany lid and a period bag shaped pistol powder flask, cleaning rod and ball mould
