AN INDIAN PULOUAR-HILTED SWORD WITH UNUSUAL BLADE
probably late 19th century 'medieval revival', with 27 1/2in straight blade comprising of an unusual, almost circular section near the hilt, the remainder being parallel until the point, both sides having two deep symmetrical fullers leaving the cutting edge and central medial ridge raised, classic plain hilt with turned down quillions and hollow, capped semi spherical pommel (patinated throughout)
