circa 1853, with slightly curved, fullered 35in spear-point blade' the back edge signed 'MOLL', triple bar iron guard marked '13 L.D.' over '343' (one bar repaired), with a correct pattern steel field scabbard marked '13' over 'H' over '579'
Provenance: The 13th Light Dragoons took part in the infamous 'Charge of the Light Brigade' during the Crimean War
