circa 1830, with round, blued 9in iron barrel, barrel makers mark of a joined 'M R', flat lock with 'WR' and crown, stepped tail, sliding safe (thumb piece broken off, frozen), walnut full-stock with brass furniture and 'B.O.' with broad arrow inspectors mark (stock drilled for mounting, captive rammer missing, traces of original finish)
