circa 1890, with 19 1/2in. sighted, tapering barrel section (muzzle cover missing), 37in overall, 'cranked' stock reservoir section with crooked pommel, the whole retaining the majority of its original mottled painted finish in imitation of mallaca, TOGETHER WITH its original oak case (lid in need of repair) with a near full complement of accessories including a twist-steel pump signed 'J. BEATTIE & SON, 205 REGENT ST LONDON' with the serial no. 3032, a cocking key combination tool (turn screw bits missing), a wad punch and a folding ramrod
