PURDEY, 314 1/2 OXFORD STREET LONDON' and marked for number 2 of a pair, platinum lined breech block and plug vents, flat border engraved locks with fine scroll engraving, fine scroll engraved dolphin hammers, figured walnut half-stock with chequering to the wrist and forend, steel engraved furniture, sling-swivel to front of trigger guard and first ramrod pipe, original ramrod, the action and furniture retaining good traces of original finish, TOGETHER WITH a period brass cornered re-lined oak case re-fitted with a 'PURDEY' label and containing a good selection of accessories including a shot and a powder flask
