28in. nitro reproved fine damascus barrels, matt rib engraved 'PERRINS & SON MAKERS 59 BROAD STREET WORCESTER No. 3711 PATENT.', some internal pitting, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and imp. cyl. choke, treble-grip action, slender toplever, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, action and furniture profusely engraved with fine acanthus scrollwork interspersed with floral bouquets and some feathered bordering, the top of the standing breech engraved 'PERRINS & SON' in a banner, brushed bright and reblued finish overall, 14 1/4in. figured stock with recessed chequered side-panels and engraved steel heel and toe plates, bolstered fore-end with Deeley & Edge patent release catch and horn finial, weight 6lb.
