27in. nitro replacement barrels (by Chubbs Gunmakers in 1978), 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/2 choke, Lang 1881 patent triggerplate action with removable striker discs, incorporating Lang 1879 patent automatic lever safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, carved serpentine fences with grape and vine motifs, fine bouquet and scroll engraving, brushed bright and reblued finish overall, 14 3/4in. well-figured stock including 1in. wooden extension, slight sweep at comb, fore-end with small insert repair, weight 6lb. 12oz., in a lightweight leather case (worn and handle detached)
