circa 1890, with blued ovoid 2 1/2in. barrel, nickel silver crescent foresight, side of top-strap stamped 'WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD, BIRMINGHAM & LONDON', side of frame marked 'WEBLEY'S RIC MODEL 83' in an oval, together with the calibre, 'winged bullet' logo and the serial number, blued cylinder, bright hammer, extractor, loading gate and trigger, oversize chequered wood grips with steel pommel and lanyard ring, the whole retaining the majority of its original finish, TOGETHER WITH an English market oak case, compartmented and lined in blush velvet with provision for 20 rounds, and including a turnscrew and an oil bottle
