for 1884, with 22in. blued barrel stamped 'WINCHESTER'S REPEATING ARMS. NEW HAVEN CT.' and ' KING'S IMPROVEMENT PATENTED MARCH 29 1866 OCTOBER 16 1860', block and blade fore-sight, carbine rear-sight with slider, late model dust-cover to receiver, tang stamped 'MODEL 1876', carbine style stock with sliding trap-door in heel-plate, saddle-ring to left hand side of action and calibre designation to brass cartridge lifter, the whole remaining in good condition with traces of colour throughout
