circa 1810, possibly converted from flintlock circa 1845, with 31in twist steel barrels numbered 1732, the top rib signed 'WILLIAM MOORE & CO, MAKERS TO HRH PRINCE ALBERT, 43 OLD BOND ST LONDON, and marked for number 2 of a pair, engraved and platinum lined breech block, engraved top tang, platinum vents, bar action scroll engraved locks signed 'WILLIAM MOORE', walnut chequered half-stock, iron long-spurred heel plate, silver oval escutcheon to underside of stock, iron trigger guard with a bordered panel featuring an engraving of a pointer on the bow, pineapple finial and ramrod throat, original rammer, (iron surfaces discoloured, stock dirty)
