AN 11-BORE LONG-BARRELLED FLINTLOCK SPORTING GUN, UNSIGNED
circa 1770, with 54in octagonal to round barrel, swamped at the muzzle with raised foresight (worn), makers mark of 'IH' in an oval at breech end, plain military style border-lined lock (details erased), walnut 'handrail' type full-stock (forend wood replaced), shell carved around the tang, brass furniture including fancy escutcheon to the wrist and fancy pierced side plate, four iron take-down wedges and five ramrod thimbles including throat (ramrod missing, iron parts discoloured)
