A .650 'JAGER-STYLE' MILITARY FLINTLOCK RIFLE FITTED WITH 'BAKER' BAYONET BAR
circa 1790, probably German, with deeply rifled 29in swamped octagonal barrel, dovetailed brass foresight, single standing rearsight, substantial bayonet bar to right hand side of muzzle, missing lock, plain walnut full-stock with sliding wooden patch box to right hand side of butt, carved with a small 'fleur-de-lys', raised cheek piece to the left hand side, plain brass furniture, trigger guard with finger spur, brass forend cap, missing ramrod (barrel stained and discoloured, one inlet repair to right side of forend, longitudinal split to left, minor losses throughout)
