circa 1840, of classic form with 54in sighted barrel fully decorated with stippling (foresight bead missing), relief carved arabesques to breech-block, flared, chased muzzle with traces of gold wash to decoration, fancy scroll-bordered silver sideplates with pierced fretwork panels at tail, silver inlayed tang and wrist decoration, silver trigger-plate en-suite with the sideplate, dark-wood full-stock with silver butt-cap and horn heel-plate, pierced fretwork iron trigger, rope-binding near the breech, three nickel-silver barrel-bands and original steel ramrod (pan cover missing, small losses to forend wood edges)
