32in. nitro ribless barrels, with a gold-inlaid band and carved scrollwork at the breech-end, diminutive sighting flat and shoulders carved with basket weave on a matt background, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and full choke, hold-open toplever gold-inlaid 'RP' and carved with basket weave, the furniture engraved en suite, manual safety with integral barrel selector switch, finely engraved with flowing acanthus scrollwork surrounding fine vignettes of the head of a hen pheasant on the right, and the head of a cock on the left, the underside gold-inlaid with the crest of Jagdhaus Wilhelmshohe, the triggerplate signed 'A. DAMMENHAYN', retaining virtually full colour-hardened finish, 15in. highly-figured pistolgrip stock including 1/2in. leather-covered recoil pad, the steel pistolgrip cap carved with basket weave, blank gold escutcheon, weight 7lb. 5oz.
