WINNER OF THE LONDON GUN TRIALS IN 1858. 1859. 1866 & 1875', some pitting and left wall thickness at 19, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/2 choke, treble-grip action, fences deeply carved in relief with floral and foliate motifs, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, acanthus scroll engraving, the makers name within a scrolling banner, retaining slight traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/8in. figured stock, fore-end with light damage, weight 6lb. 1oz.
