A SCARCE 7mm PINFIRE SIX-SHOT COMBINATION REVOLVER, MODEL 'APACHE', serial no. 3970,
circa 1860, with blued 1 1/2in. chamber, brass solid frame stamped 'L. DOLNE INVUR' together with the serial number, external hammer-spring on the right hand side and folding 3 1/2in. bayonet with flamboyant blade (creased and straightened) on the left, folding double-action only trigger, release catch at rear of frame for the folding brass finger-looped grip (lightly worn overall, head of grip release catch missing, action at fault)
