circa 1899, with blued, sighted 5 1/2in. barrel, tangent rear-sight graduated to 1000 metres, internal magazine, South African registration number on the left hand side of breech, wood grips with 22 grooves and lanyard ring to base (the whole re-finished), TOGETHER WITH its matching number shoulder stock-holster constructed in two halves (wood scuffed, one crack and end-cover renewed)
