29 3/4in. black powder only bold damascus barrels, rib engraved 'CHARLES BOSWELL. 126. STRAND. LONDON. W.C.', right wall-thickness at 19 and some pitting, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. in both, Jones patent rotary-underlever, carved serpentine fences, non-rebounding unsigned sidelocks incorporating Alfred Lancaster patent linked strikers, patent no. 1525 of 3rd June 1865, the firing pins linked to pivoting hammer noses, bold acanthus scroll engraving, brushed finish overall, 14 1/4in. well-figured stock including engraved steel buttplate, fore-end with crosspin release and horn finial, weight 7lb.
