(70cm) nitro barrels with matt rib, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 choke in both, bolstered treble-grip action, the toplever gold-inlaid 'ESSEX', automatic safety, removable striker discs, the fences carved with stylised vine motifs on a stippled background, the action carved with scenes of hounds on point in a hinterland setting, retaining some original colour-hardening and finish14 1/4in. stock including buttplate, weight 5lb. 8oz.
