SHEFFIELD.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and imp. cyl. choke, incorporating William Powell patent lift-up toplever, patent no. 1163 of 7th May 1864, use number 1335, bar-in-wood, carved serpentine fences with Powell patent gold-inlaid 'Loaded' indicators, patent no. 1055 of 1869, rebounding sidelocks with swept hammers of hare's-ear form, border engraving, some external pitting, 13 3/4in. figured stock (cracked at head) including steel buttplate, fore-end with crosspin release and horn finial, weight 6lb. 15oz.
