Taylor patent hand-detachable locks, patent no. 17731 of 28th July 1897, locks with engine turned finish, detachable floorplate, acanthus scroll engraving, the triggerguard with a running hare, brushed bright and reblued finish overall, 14 1/4in well-figured stock with heel and toe-plates, weight 6lb. 14oz.
