30in. nitro barrels with raised matt game rib and side-ribs, over barrel engraved 'WATSON BROS. 54, REDCHURCH STREET, CITY OF LONDON.', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 choke in both, hold-open toplever pierced with clover leaves, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, cocking-indicators, non-selective single trigger, rounded bar, the action, lockplates and furniture deeply carved in relief with bold stylised acanthus scrollwork on a matt background, the action gold-inlaid with the makers name, bright finish overall, 14 5/8in. highly-figured stock with Prince of Wales semi-pistolgrip, engraved steel pistolgrip-cap and including 1 1/4in. leather covered recoil pad , fore-end with repaired crack, weight 6lb. 12oz.
