A PAIR OF 50-BORE FLINTLOCK TURN-OFF POCKET PISTOLS WITH BRASS FRAMES, SIGNED 'HILL, LONDON',
circa 1800, with 1 3/4in. flame-blued turn-off barrels with engraved muzzles (one barrel frozen, finish renewed), brass boxlock actions engraved with 'LONDON' to the right hand side and 'HILL' to the left, both in ovals within a field of naval trophies, blued central hammers, sliding safeties to the tangs, figured walnut slab-sided butts and steel trigger guards with starbursts to the bows, Birmingham proofs (mild staining to iron parts)
