circa 1890. with blued octagonal 4in. barrel, blued fluted cylinder, colour-hardened frame, the top-strap signed 'HOPKINS & ALLEN MFG CO, PT MAR 28. 71. JAN 5. 86.' , hammer with spring loaded folding spur, colour hardened trigger-guard, smooth marine ivory grips, some wear to finish on cylinder, the rest retaining virtually all its original colour
