circa 1900, with 2 1/2in. ovate barrel signed along the flat 'P. WEBLEY & SON' and 'LONDON & BIRMINGHAM' along the right hand side of the barrel, top-flat inscribed 'THE BRITISH BULLDOG', blued fluted cylinder, blued frame with 'winged bullet' logo and model designation, birds-head butt with chequered walnut grip-plates, swing-out ejector rod, the whole retaining a fair amount of original finish
