A 350-BORE PERCUSSION BOXLOCK MINATURE FOB-PISTOL, UNSIGNED,
probably Belgian, possibly an apprentice-piece circa 1840, with 1/2in. turn-off round barrel (frozen) engraved with panels of wavy lines, false rifling at the muzzle, squared boxlock action engraved with floral borders and scrolls, central plain hammer, suspension boss fitted to the top tang, bag-shaped ivory grip, concealed folding trigger, the whole with an overall length of 1 5/8in. approximately (working order, some staining to metal surfaces)
