A .177 SPRING-PISTON AIR-PISTOL, MODEL 'MKI', serial no. 48272,
circa 1938, with 7in. sighted barrel, adjustable blade rear-sight behind the breech-block, marked 'WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD, BIRMINGHAM' together with three patent dates to 1925 on the right hand side and 'WEBLEY AIR PISTOL MKI, MADE IN ENGLAND' on the left, four pin trigger mechanism with adjustment screw, smooth walnut grips, the left hand one with inlaid 'winged bullet' medallion (one chipped), the whole with a fair amount of original finish (some isolated patches of pitting)
