A CASED 13-BORE PERCUSSION DOUBLE-BARRELLED SPORTING GUN, UNSIGNED
Belgian, circa 1845, with 34in. re-browned twist-steel barrels, scroll engraved top-tang, border-line and scroll engraved bar-action locks, walnut half-stock chequered at wrist, the end of the grip section carved with a stylised deer's head, raised cheek-piece on the left-hand side, engraved iron furniture, possible original ramrod (tip broken), the whole lightly worn and stained TOGETHER WITH a period, possibly original to the gun stained oak case, compartmented in the English manner, with brass corners and locks
