SEVEN MID-1950s DOCUMENTS RELATING TO THE INITIAL PROPOSED SALE OF COGSWELL AND HARRISON LIMITED, to A C Jackson of Western Arms and American Arms sealer Sam Cummings, R Stuart Murray, a director of Cogswell & Harrison was the facilitator:
a) 31/01/1957 Letter from Lindus & Hortin (solicitors) to J E Peskett (Managing Director of C & H) enclosing draft agreement for the purchase of Cogswell &
Harrison.
b) Typed carbon copy of above draft agreement together with list of Schedule "A" and Schedule "B" shareholders.
c) Typed carbon copy listing eight points to be negotiated with A C Jackson and S Cummings.
d) 19/09/1956 Typed carbon copy of letter to directors of Cogswell & Harrison from C F Middleton & Co (accountants) showing initial valuation of share capital of C & H, with amendments.
e) 30/09/1956 One typed copy plus a carbon copy of final statements of valuation of total issued share capital for £85,700.
f) 31/03/1957 One typed copy plus a carbon copy of final statement of valuation of total issued share capital for £89,600.
g) 10/04/1957 Typed list of Cogswell & Harrison gun Orders in Hand and/or partly completed.
