produced in 1970, with blued 20in. round barrel, silver-plated action engraved with the names of 17 American States on the right hand side and the words 'NATIONAL COWBOY HALL OF FAME' together with an illustration of the then proposed building on the left, carbine-style highly figured chequered stock, silver-plated butt-plate and finger lever, blued barrel-bands, the whole appearing unfired, TOGETHER WITH its original glass lidded wall display hardwood presentation box also containing a wooden wall-plaque inset with a double-sided medallion embossed with the words 'WESTERN HERITAGE CENTER, OKLAHOMA CITY DEDICATED JUNE 26, 1965' on one side, the reverse with 'NATIONAL COWBOY HALL OF FAME' together with an abbreviated map of the United States showing the 17 member States
Provenance: Originally only available for a $1000 "donation" to the building fund for the Cowboy Hall of Fame, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, only 300 of this model were produced
