Many of these antique weapons had been bought by Churchill in 1923.
b) The beige-coloured catalogue was issued to the seller. Robert Churchill's beige catalogue has been annotated by him personally with the left hand figure being Sotheby's recommended price and the right hand figure being the actual (and sometimes disappointing) price obtained at the auction.
