for 1961, with 5in barrel marked 'COLT .38 SPEC N.M.', blued slide with matted top and sighting rib with adjustable rear-sight, the side marked 'NATIONAL MATCH COLT .38 SPECIAL MID RANGE' on two lines, the right hand side marked 'COLT'S PT FA MFG CO HARTFORD CT USA', blued frame, chequered walnut grips with inlayed 'Colt' medallions, ribbed mainspring housing and front-strap, grip safety, match trigger with adjuster and detachable magazine stamped 'COLT .38 SPEC', some wear to grip-straps and high-spots, the remainder fine
