A RARE 9mm (PARA) SEMI-AUTOMATIC SERVICE PISTOL, 'MODEL 1908 NAVY "LUGER" ' serial no. 1211,
circa 1908, with 6in. sighted barrel, sliding adjustable sight to rear of toggle-action, receiver with Naval acceptance marks, chequered wood grips, the back-strap cut for shoulder-stock and correct Naval-type wood-based magazine not numbered to the gun, otherwise all matching numbers, the pistol with additional registration number under barrel, the whole with much original but lightly frosted blue and traces of straw finish
Other Notes: The 1908 Navy was produced in small numbers and represents one of the rarest variants of the Navy Luger series.
