93 1/4in. black powder only two stage barrel with integrally mounted trunnions, and applied copper blade foresight, brass, steel and oak screw plug action, ring pull manual cocking, lanyard operated trigger, barrel breech end stamped 'T. SUMNER, MAINWARING RD, BROMBOROUGH, WIRRAL, CHESHIRE', and '4OZ. PUNT POWDER 20 OZ. SHOT' and with the BP crown proof mark, the double-punt of 24ft. in length and 3ft. 9in. in the beam, mainly of lancewood with oak floor and ash knees, heavy rope recoil lanyard secured to stem piece, traditional canvas covering to decking (worn in places), complete with a variety of copper-ended setting poles, a sculling oar and one hand paddle, the vintage is unknown but is thought to be probably 1920s or 1930s, the punt is in structurally sound order but would benefit from light cosmetic restoration overall.
