dated for 1885, with 33 1/4in. sighted barrel, Birmingham proofs, plain receiver marked 'L.S.A.Co.' over the date '1885' over 'III' over 'I', the whole surmounted with a Queens crown, tear-drop cocking indicator, short under-lever, military pattern three-quarter stock, two barrel-bands, the front with bayonet lug and iron clearing rod, good condition throughout
