circa 1882, with ovoid 2 1/2in. barrel, the top-strap marked 'THE BRITISH BULLDOG', plain cylinder, plain frame stamped 'WEBLEY'S PATENT' together with the 'Winged Bullet' trademark, (one frame-pin a poor replacement), chequered walnut birds-head grips and much original nickel-plated finish
