circa 1630, with 8 3/4in double-edged curved blade with central raised rib terminating in an armour-piercing point, the whole formed in one piece with the swollen grip and roof-shaped pommel, sweeping curved knuckle-bow with animal headed terminus formed from the cross-guard, and a bud-shaped finial (no scabbard, blade cleaned with some pitting)
