A SCARCE 54-BORE PERCUSSION DOUBLE-BARRELLED PISTOL & DAGGER COMBINATION GUN, no visible serial number,
circa 1860, with plain side-by-side 3 7/8in. blued barrels separated by a centrally-mounted double-edged 9in. spearpoint blade with full length central fullers, molded iron split cross-guard with the top quillions being concealed hammers, walking-stick style hilt with diagonally ribbed marine ivory grip scales, brass circular pommel cap (traces of gilding) and automatic concealed single trigger mechanism (left-hand mainspring broken with resultant loss to top edge of ivory scale) TOGETHER WITH its brass-mounted green velvet covered tinplate scabbard (lightly worn with minor losses to velvet) and brass heart-shaped frog button
