with 'rod in hand' trademark and straightline logo, full-length plated brass foot (probable refinish or replacement), early 1905 check, strap-over rim tension control with turk's head locking nut, ivorine handle, first model line guide with nickel-silver ring, expertly repaired frame, dished spool (possible replacement) with plated retaining nut, the whole retaining some original finish with additional later re-leading.
