26 5/8in. nitro barrels (slightly shortened, bluing stripped), sunken rib engraved 'COGSWELL & HARRISON. LTD. 168, PICCADILLY. LONDON. W.1.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. in both, treble-grip action, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, bouquet and scroll engraving, triggerguard damaged, 14 3/4in. stock including 1in. leather-covered recoil pad, weight 6lb. 4oz.
Provenance: The makers have kindly informed us that this shotgun was completed as a Crown model with 27 1/2in. barrels in September 1919 for R. Lee.
