Grey enclosed firing pin patent, patent no. 2743 of October 24th 1865, with short external manual cocking levers (in place of the more common pinfire hammer form), bold acanthus engraving with ropework borders, brushed bright and reblued finish, 14 1/8in. figured stock, weight 6lb. 12oz.
