A COMPOSED PAIR OF PERSIAN 'MEDIEVAL REVIVAL' SHAMSHIRS, circa 1880, the first with 29 1/2in. fully etched fullered slightly curved blade, 'S' shaped cross-guard with rounded quillions, rounded langets and chequered iron hilt, the second with 27in. unfullered blade, similar etching, turned-down quillions and smooth iron hilt, both missing scabbards (light surface corrosion to both)
