circa 1810, with 39in. smoothbore barrel, Tower proofs, block fore-sight, slightly curved and radiused border-lined lockplate stamped with a crown over 'G.R.' cypher forwards of the hammer and 'TOWER' at the tail together with various ordnance inspectors stamps, walnut three-quarter stock of hand-rail style (numerous old repairs and inlets), flat triangular comb, the left hand side of butt stamped '244', brass furniture, iron swivels and replacement iron ramrod (exposed iron surfaces cleaned with staining and mild pitting) TOGETHER WITH a period bayonet (no scabbard, condition similar)
