A RARE 80-BORE FLINTLOCK THREE-BARRELLED TAP-ACTION ALL-BRASS POCKET PISTOL,
circa 1780, with 3 1/2in. turn-off barrel cluster (frozen) of triangular formation, false rifling to the muzzles, the respective breeches and barrels numbered 1 through 3, slab-sided boxlock action engraved with flag trophies and signed 'ROLLS' on the left and 'LONDON on the right hand side within ovals, three position selector switch mounted on the left hand side with florally engraved pan head on the right, centrally mounted border-line engraved hammer, sliding safe to the engraved top-tang, walnut slab-sided butt with silver oval to wrist, florally engraved trigger-guard bow and private proofs with the makers mark 'J.S.'
