A .442 (C/F) SIX-SHOT DOUBLE-ACTION REVOLVER, MODEL 'WEBLEY'S PATENT', serial no. 6480,
circa 1875, with 4 1/2in. ovoid barrel, crescent blade fore-sight, sighting groove to top-strap, the top-strap signed 'J. PATSTONE, 25 HIGH ST. SOUTHAMPTON', ejector rod swivel mounted around the barrel, plain cylinder with front locking notches, plain frame marked 'WEBLEY'S PATENT', hinged loading gate, chequered one-piece walnut grip (small crack near top), iron butt-cap with lanyard ring, traces of finish throughout (trigger return spring weak)
