A 17-BORE PERCUSSION DOUBLE-BARRELLED SPORTING GUN SIGNED PATRICK, no visible serial number,
circa 1830, possibly converted from flintlock, with browned 27 3/4, twist-steel barrels, bead fore-sight, platinum lines and plugs at breech-end (breech plugs currently loosened off), flat curved locks with border and floral engraving signed 'PATRICK' (one lock at fault), florally engraved hammers, walnut half-stock , silver escutcheon to wrist, iron trigger-guard with scrolled pistol-grip tang, pineapple finial and original ramrod (exposed iron surfaced darkly stained, woodwork lightly worn)
