NEW BOND STREET. LONDON.', treble-grip action with 'L' and 'R' marked removable striker discs, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, chequered front trigger, fine border engraving, the underside engraved 'HOLLAND'S 240 BORE FLANGED CARTRIDGE', retaining much colour-hardening and finish, 15 3/8in. boldly-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, engraved steel pistolgrip-cap (with trap) and including 1in. leather-covered recoil pad, weight 10lb. 5oz., in its re-lined leather case (with original labels) and canvas and leather outer.
Provenance: The makers have kindly informed us that this rifle was completed with 25in. barrels for 'Duncan' in 1930.
