30in. nitro reproved damascus barrels, rib engraved 'PETER POWELL. MAKER. HIGH STREET. TONBRIDGE.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 3/4 choke, some pitting, carved percussion fences, broad strikers, rebounding floating locks with faceted hammers, border and scroll engraving (worn), retaining very slight traces of original colour-hardening, 14 3/8in. stock with steel heel and toe plates, small split at rear left lockplate, fore-end with Scott 1873 patent key fore-end release catch, weight 6lb. 11oz.
